Basketball Game Preview: Decatur Bulldogs vs. Tri-Cities Bulldogs

The Decatur Bulldogs will square off against the Tri-Cities Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Decatur has now lost eight straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since January 14.

On Wednesday, Decatur had to suffer through a 62-27 loss at the hands of Woodward Academy. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 410th, while the War Eagles are ranked 42nd).

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Tri-Cities, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They breezed by Dunwoody to the tune of 68-24 on Tuesday. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Tri-Cities' victory bumped their record up to 18-4. As for Decatur, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-19.
