Village Tech proved they can win big last Saturday (they won by three) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out North Hills Prep 2-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in February.

Angely Diaz was the driving force of Village Tech's attack as she scored both of Village Tech's goals, bringing her season total up to eight goals.

Village Tech has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 36 goals over those six matchups. With the defeat, North Hills Prep broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-4.

Village Tech wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 13-0 victory against Summit International Prep on the 5th. North Hills Prep has also already played their next contest (against Ranchview), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
