Basketball Recap: Wallington Comes Up Short

Wallington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 73-51 to the Wood-Ridge Blue Devils. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 66-43 back in December of 2024.

Wallington's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Wood-Ridge, with the victory, they broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-8.

Wallington has already played their next game (against Elmwood Park), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Wood-Ridge has also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against Garfield.
