There's no place like home for Rustburg, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Heritage Pioneers on Tuesday. The Red Devils have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Pioneers, too.

Rustburg was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-19, 25-20.

Laila Bigham paced Rustburg's offense, picking up 14 kills. Bigham got some help from Payton Lewis and her 32 assists. Lewis was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Rustburg pushed their record up to 4-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Heritage, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
