Baseball Recap: Catholic Central Comes Up Short

Catholic Central lost against Dominican back in May of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Hilltoppers came up short against the Knights, falling 10-3. The Hilltoppers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Catholic Central's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Dominican, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-11 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Catholic Central will welcome Living Word Lutheran at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games the Timberwolves have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Dominican, they will host St. Thomas More at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Knights' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Cavaliers have averaged an impressive 9.1 runs per game this season.
