Basketball Recap: Lazbuddie Takes a Loss

Lazbuddie was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They took a 60-45 bruising from the Bovina Mustangs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Longhorns of the 59-25 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2022.

Lazbuddie's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Bovina, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-5 record.

Lazbuddie wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 70-30 loss against Smyer on the 14th. Bovina will take on San Jacinto Christian Academy in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
