Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Murrah). Everything went their way against the Jim Hill Tigers on Thursday as the Murrah Mustangs made off with a 9-1 win. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 7-0.

Murrah is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 32 goals over those six contests. As for Jim Hill, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Murrah will venture away from home to square off against Neshoba Central at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Jim Hill, they are taking a road trip to challenge Forest Hill at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Jim Hill is facing Forest Hill at the right time seeing as Forest Hill is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
