Volleyball Recap: Fort Dodge Comes Up Short on the Road Against Marshalltown

Fort Dodge had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Marshalltown Bobcats by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The Dodgers haven't had much luck with the Bobcats recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

While Fort Dodge ultimately came up short, they really made Marshalltown work, particularly in the third set. The final score came out to 26-28, 25-15, 28-26, 21-25, 15-12.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Fort Dodge will take on rival Lincoln at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Marshalltown is set to square off against their familiar foe Hoover at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
