Pekin is a perfect 4-0 against Peoria Christian since April of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Dragons will take on the Chargers at 4:30 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Pekin is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Clayton just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Saturday. They lost 3-0 to the Greyhounds.

Meanwhile, Peoria Christian entered their game against Canton on Saturday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Chargers came up short against the Little Giants, falling 3-0. The contest was a close 1-0 at the break, but unfortunately for Peoria Christian it sure didn't stay that way.

This is the second loss in a row for Peoria Christian and nudges their season record down to 5-4. As for Pekin, their loss dropped their record down to 9-8-2.

Pekin took their win against Peoria Christian in their previous meeting back in April of 2023 by a conclusive 7-0 score. Will the Dragons repeat their success, or do the Chargers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
