Basketball Game Preview: Johnston Dragons vs. Dowling Catholic Maroons

For the second straight game, Johnston will face off against Dowling Catholic. The Dragons just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Maroons at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Johnston has given up an average of 56.7 points per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Monday, Johnston was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 64-63 to Dowling Catholic. The defeat continues a trend for the Dragons in their meetings with the Maroons: they've now lost three in a row.

Dowling Catholic is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. As for Johnston, they now have a losing record of 7-8.
