Soccer Recap: North Branch Comes Up Short + How To Watch

North Branch was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Imlay City Spartans, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, North Branch can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 384th, while Imlay City are ranked 162nd).

North Branch's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8-1. As for Imlay City, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-4-1 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Branch will challenge Montrose at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Imlay City, they will venture away from home to square off against Seaholm/Groves at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
