Basketball Recap: Oldham-Ramona/R Takes a Loss

Oldham-Ramona/R was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Chester Flyers and fell 79-51. While losing is never fun, the Rutland can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Dakota basketball rankings (they are ranked 144th, while the Flyers are ranked 49th).

Oldham-Ramona/R's record now sits at 4-16. As for Chester, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Oldham-Ramona/R will take on DeSmet at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in DeSmet's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three matchups. As for Chester, they will challenge Canistota/Freeman on Friday.
