It was a good run, but Madison County unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell 49-42 to the Warren East Raiders.

Madison County's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-6. As for Warren East, they pushed their record up to 7-2 with the win, which was their 21st straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Madison County will head out to face off against Hart County at 2:30 p.m. on January 4, 2025. As for Warren East, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Hickman County at 1:30 p.m. on Friday.
