Soccer Recap: South Fayette Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against McKeesport on Thursday, South Fayette came back down to earth. The Lions fell just short of the Mt. Lebanon Blue Devils by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. The game was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but South Fayette couldn't quite close it out.

South Fayette now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Mt. Lebanon, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South Fayette will head out to challenge Laurel Highlands at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Laurel Highlands will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something South Fayette surely won't give up without a fight. As for Mt. Lebanon, they will challenge Peters Township at 7:45 p.m. on Thursday. The match will give Mt. Lebanon their first taste of in-conference action this season.
