The Tolono Unity Rockets will take on the Tri-Valley Vikings at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Tolono Unity will be looking to extend their current 11-game winning streak.
Tolono Unity is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They never let Maroa-Forsyth get on the board and left with a 12-0 win. Considering the Rockets have won 19 matchups by more than seven runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
Lindy Bates made a splash while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI.
In other pitching news, Danika Eisenmenger looked comfortable as she tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

Back at the plate, Kenley Harris and Grace Bickers did most of the damage at the plate: Harris went 2-for-3 with one home run and three RBI, while Bickers went 2-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. Those three RBI gave Harris a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Shelby Smith, who went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, after only one run in their last contest, Tri-Valley made sure to put some runs up on the board against Monticello on Wednesday. The Vikings blew past the Sages 13-7. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Vikings as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
Aubrey Holmes looked comfortable as she tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.
At the plate, Tri-Valley got a massive performance out of Zoey Whittaker, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and one double. Another player making a difference was Elle Fesler, who went 2-for-5 with one home run, three runs, and one double.
Tri-Valley's win bumped their record up to 21-7-1. As for Tolono Unity, their victory bumped their record up to 30-4.
Everything went Tolono Unity's way against Tri-Valley when the teams last played on May 3rd, as Tolono Unity made off with a 12-2 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rockets since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
