Basketball Recap: Fork Union Military Academy Comes Up Short

Fork Union Military Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 26th straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by the St. Anne's-Belfield Saints 82-45. The Blue Devils were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 49-27.

Danzelle Bullock Coles continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for St. Anne's-Belfield, dropping a triple-double on 14 points, 21 rebounds, and 15 assists. With that strong performance, Bullock Coles is now averaging an impressive 8.3 boards per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Austin Williford, who went 6 for 10 en route to 14 points and four steals.

Fork Union Military Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-13. As for St. Anne's-Belfield, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-7.

Fork Union Military Academy will venture away from home to face off against Trinity Episcopal at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for St. Anne's-Belfield, they will square off against Woodberry Forest at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
