Soccer Recap: Kiski School Takes a Loss

While it was all tied up 1-1 at halftime, Kiski School was not quite Lake Forest Academy's equal in the second half on Sunday. They fell just short of the Caxys by a score of 2-1. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Kiski School came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' soccer rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 40th in Pennsylvania, while Lake Forest Academy are ranked 126th in Illinois).

Kiski School is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-6-2. As for Lake Forest Academy, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-6-2.

Coming up, Kiski School will face off against Mercersburg Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Lake Forest Academy, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 7-2 victory against Francis W. Parker on the 14th.
