Basketball Recap: Desert Heights Prep Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Desert Heights Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 33-24 to the Mayer Wildcats. The Yote were not able to make up for their defeat to the Wildcats from their previous meeting back in December of 2024.

Among those leading the charge was Kallie Bauersachs, who posted seven points along with 11 rebounds and three steals. Those seven points gave her a new career-high. Taylor McCann was another key player, putting up 13 points and five steals.

Desert Heights Prep's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Mayer, their record now sits at 3-5.
