After a string of three wins, Round Rock Christian Academy's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell just short of the Johnson City Eagles by a score of 2-1. The Crusaders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2020.

Round Rock Christian Academy's offense was headlined by Sophia Dall'oglio and Mia Kropewnicki, who picked up ten kills apiece. They got some help from Maggie Cushing and her 15 assists.

Round Rock Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Johnson City, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-5.
