League recap: Jamestown extends winning streak with victory over Niagara Falls

Jamestown added to the longest winning streak in Section 6 AA this week by beating Niagara Falls, 63-6. The win marks eighth in a row for the the Red Raiders.

Frontier and Lockport played the closest game in the league this week, with Frontier eventually emerging with a 27-21 victory. Cameron Coon ran for 120 yards in the win.

Tyler Gaglia was a passing and rushing force as the Falcons topped the Lions. He completed 6 passes for 63 yards and also ran for 88 yards. Gaglia's key target this week was Ricky Fitzgerald, who caught 3 passes for 30 yards.

Jacob Sisson put up the best numbers through the air as Jamestown defeated the Wolverines. He finished with a total of 6 completions for 50 yards and 2 touchdowns. Sisson's favorite target this week was Zach Panebianco, who caught 2 passes for 28 yards.

Tom Langworthy's team's Sisson and Stephen Carlson have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-0 quarterback Sisson has thrown for 2,065 yards this season, while Carlson has 41 catches for 715 yards. Frontier's Coon leads the league in rushing yards with 817.

At the moment, the Red Raiders are in first, while Kenmore West is in third.

The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Orchard Park takes on Timothy Myslinski's team. The Quakers have allowed 136 points this season, while the Falcons have given up 79. Orchard Park allowed 20 points last week as it bested Clarence.
