Basketball Game Preview: Canute Trojans vs. Burns Flat-Dill City Eagles

The Canute Trojans are taking a road trip to take on the Burns Flat-Dill City Eagles at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Last Tuesday, Canute came up short against Hammon and fell 72-63. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (56), the Trojans still had to take the loss.

Meanwhile, Burns Flat-Dill City also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to Hollis by a score of 58-49. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now lost five in a row.

Canute's defeat ended a nine-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-5. As for Burns Flat-Dill City, their loss dropped their record down to 6-9.

Canute was able to grind out a solid win over Burns Flat-Dill City when the teams last played back in January, winning 60-50. Will Canute repeat their success, or does Burns Flat-Dill City have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
