Basketball Game Preview: Sheffield Bulldogs vs. Phil Campbell Bobcats

The Sheffield Bulldogs will square off against the Phil Campbell Bobcats at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Sheffield is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.

Last Thursday, Sheffield was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 59-54 to Lexington.

While Phil Campbell didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-18), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They came out on top against Colbert Heights by a score of 54-41 on Tuesday. The win was some much needed relief for the Bobcats as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Sheffield's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Phil Campbell, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-5.

Sheffield strolled past Phil Campbell when the teams last played back in February of 2017 by a score of 70-53. Does Sheffield have another victory up their sleeve, or will Phil Campbell turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
