Oneida was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 15-14 heartbreaker at the hands of the Adirondack Wildcats. On the bright side, the 14- point performance marked the Express' highest-scoring matchup to date.

Robert Weiler produced another solid effort rushing for 92 yards for Adirondack. An impressive showing, but Weiler really ramped things up playing D: he forced one fumble and made 15 total tackles (1.0 for loss). Bryce Weiler got in on the action as well, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Oneida's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Adirondack, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-5.
