Volleyball Recap: Corcoran Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Corcoran faced off against Woodlake on Saturday. The Panthers fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 2-1. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Corcoran sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The final score came out to 25-14, 23-25, 15-9.

Corcoran's loss dropped their record down to 4-8-2. As for Woodlake, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-9-1.

Corcoran didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Granite Hills on the 13th. As for Woodlake, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Coalinga on the 13th.
