Baseball Recap: First Baptist Academy Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

First Baptist Academy hadn't done well against Southwest Florida Christian recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Lions sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-3 win over the King's. This was payback for the Lions, who suffered a 7-3 defeat the last time these two teams met.

The team relied heavily on Slyder Davenport, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with one double. That double marked the first that he has hit this season.
