Softball Recap: Cox Mill Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Cox Mill's offense. They came up short against the Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls on Tuesday, falling 18-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Ragin' Bulls this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 18-1 back in March.

Cox Mill's loss dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Hickory Ridge, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cox Mill will face off against Lake Norman at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hickory Ridge, they will challenge Corinth Holders at 1:00 a.m. on Friday. The Ragin' Bulls' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Pirates have averaged an impressive 10.4 runs per game this season.
