Milton and Watertown are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2018, but likely not for long. The Red Hawks will challenge the Goslings at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Milton 2.8, Watertown 3.4) so any runs scored will be well earned.

On Friday, Milton didn't have quite enough to beat Janesville Craig and fell 3-2. The Red Hawks haven't had much luck with the Cougars recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Meanwhile, Watertown unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of Waukesha North by a score of 6-4.

Jacob Hurtgen and Calvin Hurtgen did some serious damage despite the final result: Jacob went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double, while Calvin went 3-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Watertown's defeat dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Milton, their loss dropped their record down to 15-7.

Milton came out on top in a nail-biter against Watertown when the teams last played back in May of 2024, sneaking past 2-0. Will the Red Hawks repeat their success, or do the Goslings have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
