Volleyball Recap: Grove Christian School Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Grove Christian School had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They blew past the Amelia Academy Patriots 3-0. That's more bragging rights for the Falcons, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

While Grove Christian School won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-16, 25-18.

When it comes to explaining why Amelia Academy lost, don't look at Reagan Graber. Despite the final result, she had 11 assists and seven aces. Another player making a difference was Kennedy Hooper, who had five kills, two aces, and one block.

Grove Christian School's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Amelia Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Grove Christian School will challenge Christchurch School at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Amelia Academy, they will square off against Grace Christian School at 6:00 p.m. on September 4.
