There's no place like home for Norton, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out the Black River Pirates 8-7 on Friday.

Norton pushed their record up to 16-3 with the win, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.7 runs over those games. As for Black River, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-6.
