Basketball Recap: Mid-Missouri Homeschool Skates Past Lebanon Homeschool with Ease

There's no place like home for Mid-Missouri HomeSchool, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They breezed by the Lebanon HomeSchool Rockets to the tune of 74-39 on Monday. The Mavericks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Mid-Missouri HomeSchool's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kyle Aulgur led the charge by going 7 of 8 on his way to 21 points along with five boards and four steals. Aulgur has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 13 times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaden Hayes, who went 8 for 12 en route to 18 points and eight rebounds.

Mid-Missouri HomeSchool is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 games, which provided a massive bump to their 16-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.1 points per game. As for Lebanon HomeSchool, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mid-Missouri HomeSchool will take on Heritage Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Heritage Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50 points per game this season. As for Lebanon HomeSchool, they will challenge Aurora Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Aurora Christian Academy also hasn't been messing around on offense: they've averaged 52.4 points per game.
