Basketball Recap: Liberty Comes Up Short

Liberty was the 70-60 winner over Philip Barbour when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Liberty Mountaineers fell 61-51 to the Philip Barbour Colts on Saturday. The Mountaineers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Liberty now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Philip Barbour, their win bumped their record up to 5-12.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Liberty will take on Robert C. Byrd at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Philip Barbour, they will face off against Lincoln at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Philip Barbour is facing Lincoln at the right time seeing as Lincoln is stuck on an 11-game losing streak.
