Soccer Recap: McIntosh County Academy Takes a Loss

McIntosh County Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 10-0 to the Claxton Tigers. If the Buccaneers were looking for revenge after losing 2-1 to the Tigers when the teams met back in March of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

McIntosh County Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Claxton, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-3 record.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. McIntosh County Academy will take on Portal at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Portal will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something McIntosh County Academy surely won't give up without a fight. As for Claxton, they will be playing at home against Screven County at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Claxton has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 20 goals over their last three games.
