Dakota Ridge had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They had just enough and edged out the Chatfield Chargers 3-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 last Thursday.

Whitney Dewicki paced Dakota Ridge's offense, picking up 25 kills. Dewicki got some help from Katherine Weiser and her 49 assists. Dewicki also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Olivia Phillips, each putting up three.

Dakota Ridge is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season. As for Chatfield, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-13.

Dakota Ridge wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Legacy on the 8th. Chatfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
