Basketball Recap: St. Joseph D's Luck Changes for the Better on Tuesday

St. Joseph D came into Tuesday's game having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against the Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy Rams by a score of 66-53 on Tuesday.

Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Naftali Tilove, who went 8-for-11 on his way to 22 points and five rebounds, and Uriel Noorollah, who went 6-for-15 to rack up 17 points. Those 22 points gave Tilove a new career-high.

St. Joseph D's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.

St. Joseph D will be playing in front of their home fans against Chesterton Academy of St. Philip Neri at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Chesterton Academy of St. Philip Neri will roll in looking for their 11th straight win, something St. Joseph D surely won't give up without a fight. Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
