Softball Recap: Crenshaw Comes Up Short

Crenshaw extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to five on Wednesday, dropping them down to 0-4. They came up short against the Dymally Challengers, falling 29-6. If the Cougars were looking for revenge after losing 29-18 to the Challengers when the teams met back in April of 2025, then they'll just have to keep looking.

As for Dymally, the victory snapped their losing streak at six games and leaves them with a 3-6 record. That looming 29-6 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for them yet this season.

For Dymally's part, the team relied heavily on Lanai Wilson, who got five hits. Another player making a difference was Rihanna Ruiz, who got three hits.

Looking ahead, Crenshaw will be playing at home against Jordan at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Dymally, they are taking a road trip to square off against George Washington Prep at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. The Challengers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Generals have averaged an impressive 13.5 runs per game this season.
