Basketball Recap: Montague Takes a Loss

Montague was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a blow against the North Muskegon Norsemen, falling 65-22. The Wildcats were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 43-12.

Montague's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for North Muskegon, they pushed their record up to 7-0 with the win, which was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Montague Wildcats challenge the Newaygo Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Muskegon, they will head out to take on Ludington at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
