Football Recap: North Shore's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Seven + How To Watch

North Shore came tearing into Friday's contest with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 53.3 points), and they left with even more momentum. They took down the Atascocita Eagles 47-28. That's more bragging rights for the Mustangs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

North Shore got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Hezekiah Johnson out in front who rushed for 70 yards and four scores. Johnson has been hot recently, having posted two or more rushing touchdowns the last three times he's played. Another signal caller making a difference was Kaleb Maryland, who threw for 233 yards and a pair of TDs on only 16 passes.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: North Shore was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 293 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in December of 2024.

North Shore's record is now 7-1. As for Atascocita, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.

The two teams might be coming in a bit winded given these two teams combined for 1,142 yards in their previous games.
