Baseball Recap: Sunnyside Christian Continues Home Dominance on Saturday

Sunnyside Christian proved they can win big two weeks ago (they won by eight) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 11-9 victory over the Oroville Hornets. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Knights have posted since March 25th.

Sunnyside Christian's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-8. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Oroville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-4-1.
