Raines won the last time they faced Westside and things went their way on Thursday too. Everything went the Raines Vikings' way against the Westside Wolverines as the Raines Vikings made off with a 21-2 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Vikings.

William Cobb was excellent, scoring four runs while going 1-for-5.

Raines now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Westside, they are on a 19-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Coming up, Raines will be playing in front of their home fans against Ribault at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Westside, they will head out to challenge Parker at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Westside has given up an average of 18.1 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
