Miami Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 49-17 loss at the hands of the South Miami Cobras. One positive for the Golden Hawks, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Miami Springs' loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for South Miami, the win snapped their losing streak at six games and leaves them with a 3-9 record.

Miami Springs will take on Carol City on Tuesday. Miami Springs is facing Carol City at the right time seeing as Carol City is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for South Miami, they will venture away from home to take on Reagan at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Reagan's defense has only allowed 20.6 points per game this season, so South Miami's offense will have their work cut out for them.
