Basketball Recap: East Jessamine Takes a Loss

East Jessamine was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a blow against the Mercer County Titans, falling 70-39. While losing is never fun, the Jaguars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 209th, while the Titans are ranked 65th).

East Jessamine's loss dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Mercer County, they pushed their record up to 13-6 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.

East Jessamine wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 68-40 victory against Burgin on the 31st. As for Mercer County, they will welcome West Jessamine at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
