A Season-Best Performance from Arthur Mcqueen Leads Stanhope Elmore over Rehobeth

Stanhope Elmore was led to victory by Arthur Mcqueen, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Mcqueen rushed for 420 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 20.0 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. His longest rush was for an incredible 85 yards.

Stanhope Elmore pushed their record up to 4-4 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Mcqueen's next match is against Wetumpka on Friday, where he'll look to repeat that solid effort.

Godwin also punched in two rushing touchdowns, which is notable because Wetumpka is undefeated when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 2-3 otherwise.

Wetumpka's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-3. Godwin and Wetumpka will square off against Stanhope Elmore at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Mike Jones Crosses Big Stat Threshold
