Softball Recap: Triton Wins Going Away Against Westover

Triton won the last time they faced Westover and things went their way on Friday too. Triton put the hurt on Westover with a sharp 15-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Hawks, who have now won seven games by ten runs or more so far this season.

The win made it two in a row for Triton and bumps their season record up to 11-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.5 runs over those games. As for Westover, they dropped their record down to 0-10 with the defeat, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Triton is set to face off against their familiar foe Pine Forest at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Westover will challenge rival Overhills at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
