There's no place like home for Greenfield-Central, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They had just enough and edged out the Pendleton Heights Arabians 4-3 on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Cougars have posted since April 11th.

Addie Heacox spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on eight hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Greenfield-Central saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Josie White, who went 3-for-4 with one stolen base.
