Volleyball Recap: Ord Takes a Loss

Ord was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Scotus Shamrocks. The Chanticleers were not able to make up for their loss to the Shamrocks from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Jamie Vavra paced Ord's offense, picking up six kills. Vavra got some help from Brylie Collier and her 13 assists. Collier was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Ord's defeat dropped their record down to 7-15. As for Scotus, they moved to 7-11 with that win, which also ended their four-match losing streak.

Ord wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Cozad on the 7th. As for Scotus, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against North Bend Central on the 4th.
