Orangefield won against Hamshire-Fannett on Thursday with five runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. The Orangefield Bobcats beat the Liberty Panthers by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 5-2. The Bobcats haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Orangefield got a great performance from Cole Sanches as he didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched.

At the plate, Matthew Johnson was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Carson Worthy, who scored a run while going 2-for-2.

Orangefield always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .600. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Liberty only posted an OBP of .269.

Orangefield's record is now 3-0. As for Liberty, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Bobcats challenge the Cardinals at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Liberty, they will challenge Buna at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday.
