Who's up and who's down

This week's postseason excitement didn't throw the rankings into complete disarray, but it did reorder the standings a decent amount. Among the games was a one-point thriller between Torrington and Jackson Hole.

No Stoppin 'Em

It was another game, another high-octane performance for Big Horn last week (their 10th in a row). It put the hurt on Pine Bluffs with a conclusive 68 - 13 victory. Big Horn did have the odds in its favor, but the team did even better than the MaxPreps state rankings indicated. The combined 81 points was the most of any game featuring a power-ranked team.

A

It was a battle of top-notch squads when Mountain View (6th in the power rankings) took on Glenrock (8th) last week. Mountain View came out on top against Glenrock with a 33 - 21 win. The victory boosted Mountain View a satisfying five spots in the power rankings.

Next Week's Big Game

The big showdown in the power rankings this week is between Torrington (2nd in the power rankings) and Star Valley (1st). The teams have their eyes fixed on the championship after last-week playoff conquests. Only one team will win this week, so we'll find out on Friday which team fails to repeat its success.
