Baseball Recap: Hamilton Comes Up Short

The Hamilton Hornets didn't have quite enough to beat the Lenape Indians on Saturday and fell 3-2. The contest marked the Hornets' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Hamilton now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Lenape, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hamilton will square off against Allentown at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Redbirds' pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so the Hornets' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Lenape, they will challenge Cherry Hill West at 3:45 p.m. on Monday.
