Fellowship Christian has gone 9-1 against Whitefield Academy recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Fellowship Christian Paladins will take on the Whitefield Academy WolfPack at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Tuesday, Fellowship Christian was able to grind out a solid victory over Landmark Christian, taking the game 40-27.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Whitefield Academy). They blew past Mt. Bethel Christian Academy 84-62 on Wednesday. The WolfPack have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Whitefield Academy's win came from a few key players Fellowship Christian will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Amelia Newman, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and ten rebounds. Her evening made it four games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Haley Holland, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 15 boards.

Whitefield Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 22 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 17 consecutive contests.

Fellowship Christian is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.7 points per game. As for Whitefield Academy, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-6.

Everything came up roses for Fellowship Christian against Whitefield Academy in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, as the squad secured a 56-23 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Fellowship Christian since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
