Recap: Trico Pioneers vs. DuQuoin Indians
The Trico Pioneers fought the good fight in their overtime contest against the DuQuoin Indians on Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell to the Indians 68-64. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their last game last Friday (58), Trico still had to take the loss.
It was another big night for Eli Maynor, who scored 23 points along with eight rebounds and three steals for DuQuoin. Another player making a difference was Dwayne Wilmington, who scored 18 points.
Trico's loss dropped their record down to 3-15. As for DuQuoin, their victory bumped their record up to 5-11.
Trico and Waterloo will face off at 5:30 p.m. on January 19th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. As for DuQuoin, DuQuoin and Anna-Jonesboro will face off at 4:30 p.m. on January 15th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Anna-Jonesboro has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 193 points over their last three matches.
